Magnetic Field Indicator / Pie Gauge

Introduction

Magnetic Field Indicator / Pie Gauge is made according to America ASTME709, ASTMA275 standard and Chinese JB3965, JB4730-94 standard and “Steel Pressure Vessel Magnetic Flaw Detection” and “Pressure Forgins Magnetic Flaw Detection”

Therefore, it is not only suitable for pressure vessels but also general machinery products. It is an essential tool for magnetic flaw detection. It can test performance of detection equipment, magnetics ink. We can easily use it to test the magnetic field strength and magnetized direction.

Application:

1.      Pressure Vessel and General Machinery Product.

2.      Forged Steel Workpiece.

3.      Test performance and operation method possibility of detection equipment, magnetics ink.

Operation:

When Use 1 type of magnetic field indicator, please hold the handle of indicator. And make cooper side up while eight line side touch the work piece tightly.

When use 2 type magnetic field indicator, please hold the handle of indicator.  Each side of the indicator can touch the workpiece while testing.

While use Type 1 and Type 2 indicator continuous testing method and spraying magnetic particle/ magnetic ink. If discernable magnetic mark lines appear on the indicator, it shows magnetic effect has already exist. If there is no discernable magnetic mark line appear on the indicator, you should change magnetic method.

Type 3 is similar of Germany magnetic field product. It can test flaw detection equipment, but also the performance and operation method possiblity of Magnetic Particle and Magnetic Ink. This type can reflect the magnetic field and magnetized direction. It can also adjust the lid and soft iron distance. The certain magnetic value can help you find the limit value of the flaw on the work piece surface.

Note:

1. Clean the oil on the block before use it. When test please make the copper side up and make Eight line side touch the work piece tightly.

2. Keep block clean afer using it.
